"After completing the orphanage that we all donated heavily to after the terrible Tsunami that struck Sri Lanka and numerous other countries, we then decided to focus our attention on a cause closer to home. In the North of Tenerife we decided to build play areas, provide wheelchairs and completely renovate the roof of a Cerebral Palsy centre.
Having then contributed to a scheme in Jamaica to provide schools with books and learning equipment, we then moved onto the Glorious Marianna Academy in Africa. In a matter of months, we had raised enough money to build a complete school, provide computers and Internet access and accommodation for 60 orphans."

"Since joining Resort Properties four years ago I have been involved with various charity projects from building outside play areas and barbecue areas for under-privileged children to donating various amounts of money to a number of charities around the world.
At present we are donating to orphaned children in a school in Africa where they have no relatives or even a roof over their heads as a home. The fact that I am working for Resort Properties, a company that cares and is willing to make a huge effort to help others, makes me very proud that I am also involved in their projects at the same time.
Well done to Resort Properties."

"Having worked for Resort Properties for three and a half years, it has been really fun and rewarding to have been involved in some of the charity work that the company has been contributing to for some time.
One of the best evenings we had was held in the Sales Office where we enjoyed an Auction Night for 60 orphans in Mombasa, Kenya. We received €11,000 in one fabulous night!.
Having been a personal sponsor of an underprivileged child in India for 15 plus years, I was extremely pleased to get involved with a company that looks to contribute outside of itself.
The Palmyra Foundation in the Caribbean has been providing for education needs in a place that looks like paradise, but in truth has abject poverty in some areas.
The local community here in Tenerife has also benefitted by the company's representatives and managers giving of their skills and time to build a garden for cerebral palsy children in the north of the island, a project completed a few years ago."

"Having worked now at Resort Properties for many years, I have worked in an environment where I have been encouraged to give money and time towards our charitable organisations.
At first it was very easy because I gave permission for a set amount of money to be taken monthly from my wages.
This has progressed and developed to the stage where I am now really enthusiastic to see and contribute to our projects in Jamaica and Kenya. We now have different fundraising projects whereby we actually do things that raise the cash. For example emptying our houses of unwanted goods and clothing, then we sold and auctioned them off in a fun atmosphere.
This participation has made us feel so much more involved with these children worse off than ourselves and it gives me real purpose for being here. Thankfully, Resort Properties actively encouraged me to become involved."

"To have the opportunity of helping others less fortunate than ourselves is extremely rewarding. During my six and a half years with Resort Properties I have been involved with many charitable projects through the company.
Over and above general fundraising - which has paid for wheelchairs in a cerebral palsy unit, built an orphanage in Sri Lanka, a school in Kenya and assisted under privileged children in Jamaica - we also give our spare time to helping charities from a labour point of view.
The reward comes from seeing the results we have achieved as a company in an unselfish and caring way."

"Since I've been with the company the charity work that has been done is second to none. Resort Properties, being one of the biggest Timeshare companies in the world, for me is without doubt the biggest hearted when it comes to charity, whether it be building schools in Mombasa or helping out the needy in the north Tenerife, auction nights, etc.
I'm proud to be a part of the charity work we do and it's so rewarding that we can give something back to the less fortunate. Let's continue the good work."

"I have worked for Resort Properties since 2000 and we have always been a charitable company where we regularly contribute to worthy charities i.e. cancer research, RSPCA.
In 2006 we looked at ways we could all improve the quality of our lives in all areas where we all attended Anthony Robbins seminars. A big part of our Wheel of Life is celebration and contribution where we looked at ways that we could contribute.
Since then we have helped build a play area and barbecue area for children with cerebral palsy. More recently we have raised 16,000 Euros for a children's orphanage - the Marianna Glorious Academy - in Mombasa. We held auctions and sold raffle tickets, it was an amazing feeling to know we have truly changed their lives forever."

"It gives me great pleasure knowing that we can help as individuals and as a team for those who really need it. To see the smiles on the faces of the children makes it all worthwhile. May it long continue!!
It gives me a great feeling of satisfaction knowing 100% goes to them".

"I have to say what stands out to me above all is not the work Resort Properties does but the passion and involvement of the ground root staff.
I'm so pleased to be part of the good work we are doing and look forward to many future projects".

"My name is Tony Birch. I have worked at Resort Properties for 5 years now.
I am truly amazed as to how a company as big as Resort Properties is continually helping others and even finds the time to help others.
Each month everyone at the company donates a small amount of money. At present we are currently helping the Marianna Foundation in Jamaica, supporting up to 60 kids by way of providing schooling and houses. It really helps me knowing we are helping others. It would be good if most if not all companies had the same approach as Resort Properties."

Hello my name is Kevin. I have been on the Resort Properties team around 18 months. One of the big attractions of being on the team and firm is knowing that part of the money we make is going to help people around the world who are having it tough.
Having being around the globe I have seen the devastation that poverty creates. When my boss asked if we would consider going to Mombasa to build a school I was well up for it. In the meantime I have taken great pleasure selling multiple raffle tickets and helping clients to open their hearts to helping others.
I hope I get to Kenya to help.

I have worked for the company for seven and a half years and have worked for two very large companies in the UK. I can honestly say Resort Properties is the only company who take such an active role in charitable causes. Rather than just donate generally (which we also do) they have picked out specific schemes making sure the money gets to where it should.
Recent donations include £23,000 for the rebuilding of a school in Sri Lanka after the Tsunami, building a play area and buying an electric wheelchair for children in Santa Cruz, also raising £16,500 for The Marianna Glorious Academy in Mombasa, building a school and accommodation for 60 orphaned children.

Pride, basically being involved in a set up that takes time to help people; kids in dire straits like these in Kenya.
One day one or more of these kids will make something of themselves because we gave them the opportunity. Imagine 60 doctors, teachers, footballers coming out of that orphanage and then giving something back to their community.
It's all about opportunity taking ours and giving it to others.

When I joined the company I was pleased to be informed of the massive charity fund raising by Resort Properties.
It is a huge reflection of a fantastic company and all the wonderful people who work within such an enthusiastic team.
I am looking forward to contributing and making a difference to those who are less fortunate than ourselves. There is nothing more rewarding than putting a smile on the faces of under privileged children.

I've worked in Timeshare for several years now but this is in fact the first time I've been in a company that takes humanity into consideration.
Thank you, on behalf of the handicapped children in the north, for everything that Resort Properties has done for them.
Thank you as well, on behalf of the orphans in Mombassa, Kenya.
Lastly, thank you for all the charitable work in Jamaica and elsewhere.
It's an honor to be part of this group.
Outstanding forever.

I have no problem with charity work. I am heavily involved with Love Russia and Break Free (alcohol and drugs abuse). It is my way of giving something back. I have worked in Russia for two years, one week per year in an orphanage.
